A lot, a special asbestos skip will cost over £400. Some rubbish tips may still take asbestos for a price, best phone your local council for info and regulations in your area.
If you are doing it yourself be very careful as asbestos is very harmful. Wear a breathable mask, chemical suit, gloves and spray the shed with water first so particles are less likely to escape.
DO NOT use a sledge hammer, take the panels apart carefully, asbestos should not be broken up.
you have not got an asbestos shed ,..what you have is a fibrous cement ...a lot different ...if after 1977 then it will have no asbestos ...but you will find it difficult to prove ..if you can borrow a trailer then your local council will normally take it free...I'm a builder and take these down all the time ..i have to pay for the skips and these cost about £500 plus ...i all ways wet them down to prevent dust and then just knock them down ..its not the deadly stuff you all ways hear about ...that stuff is usually around pipe lagging
there is no average size. that aside.are you sure it is asbestos.contact your local building inspector.he will check it out and let you know.and you may be able to do the job youself.and let you know how and where to dispose of it.not all asbestos is dangerous.but you need to know the type of material first.good luck.
