I know someone who screams and hurts their dogs, but I'm too scared to tell anyone?
I was at my cousin's house today, and i saw him yelling at his dog when it was whining behind the door, then he opened the door and kicked it down the stairs. (Its a big dog, so it didn't fly or anything, but still) and I don't know how often this happens, or if its the first time or not. I doubt it though. they have 4 dogs and most of the time they're down in the basement. but they get fed and stuff... but they just had a baby so the dogs are never upstairs and they never really get played with or petted much. i know he screams at them a lot though. and i don't know what to do. he's my cousin and i dont want to get him in trouble but i cant stand seeing him freak out and hurt the dogs. and i dont think the dogs would have any physical signs of abuse or anything though. and if i did call the humane society or who ever, they'd be wondering who it was and it'd be all around the family and i dont want them to know it was me. i'm so confused. :( what should i do?

Well think of it this way. It is those dogs one life, finally someone took notice...will this person help them or atleast try even if nothing is done? What a sad life they must live...if only someone cared to help. Look up animal control in their area. Tell them what u told us....they wont say who called. Animals are helpless they need help. Please help :(
Just try to muster up a little cuage. Eather call the non emergency police or the humane society tell them your scared and u dont Want to give your name for.fear of retaliation.
And dont feel bad for asking for for a little direction. Asking is a first step toward a sulution.:)
you should definitely try to get those dogs out of that situation somehow. that is very sad :(
I would call the police or local humane society and place an anonymous report. If this person just had a baby it may only be a matter of time before his anger and aggression is taken out in a similar way on the child.
Instead of asking total strangers, on YA's, why don't you speak to your parents?
Just do the right thing :) I think u should call one of those organizations they know what to do and i think its anonymous so they wont tell anyone u called. I hope u do it cus those poor animals dont deserve to be treated like that :( if u can do something to help them its better to do it b4 its too late
Look, did the dog do anything wrong?
He may be disciplining it, and you only going to cause a family war so maybe you should obserb the dog closely before causing so much sh*t to happen.
I am against animal abuse, I just don't wan you to look like an idiot here.
If the dog is being hurt, call animal control or get someone else to.
