Does anyone know anything about reoccurring dreams?
I've had this dream for a while.
Where I’ll be sitting there doing something.
And slowly everything just goes black.
And I can’t move or scream or talk.
I just slowly fall down and every thing’s black.
And I keep trying to scream and kick and have someone acknowledge me.
But I can't move or anything. It just slowly fades.
I don't know why I'm having it over and over. But I've had it so much, now I know it's a dream every time it happens and I just let it happen and don't try to do anything.

I've had similar dreams. They freak me out. I'll be sleeping and all of a sudden i get scared because i cant wake up. I try to physically move or even say something but the only thing i have managed to do is breathe fast so that someone hears my breathing and wakes me up. Its almost as if you are experiencing anesthetic awareness. I think it could be because the room you are sleeping in is cold. Try to keep warm when you are going to bed or turn the heat on if necessary. You are more likely to have a bad dream in a cold room.
Another thing you can do is keep a dream journal. Write down your dreams you remember and read them over before going to bed. You said you have these bad dreams so often you practically know when its a dream. That means you are experiencing lucid dreams (being aware you are dreaming while dreaming). If you keep up with a journal, you might be able to control your dreams so next time you have a bad one, you can turn it into an amazing one. Good Luck!
