I have 2 keitens there are maby 7-9 weeks old not to shure strill small tho, and we live on a acreg and they sleep in the grage, when will they start killing mice maby they already do I dont know?
If their mother teaches them to hunt, they will start to go after mice once they are weaned and their mother stops providing them food. At first, they may simply play the voles to death. (Voles are your typical field mice.)
Not for a couple of months. Most cats have some instinct to at least chase them, but not all cats will kill or eat them - usually the best "mousers" are those from a farm where the mom cat has taught them what to do.
