In a story I've written, a young teenager steps on a teenage girl's wrist and breaks it. He puts all his weight on her wrist as well, which would be about a hundred and eighty pounds. Could you break a girl's wrist by stepping on it in such a manner?

The bones, and cartilage in a young girl's wrist are very fragile, and easily broken, or the word shattered comes to mind.
The result would probably mean that the hand of the patient would have to be amputated.
There may be a way to regrow a human, functioning, hand.
