Usually if I do have painful urination, it is when I have really small urine coming out of my penis. But this urination was smaller. I also noticed after jacking off my dick felt a little numb and weird for like one second

Maybe you still had some semen in the urethra, sometimes can dry a bit and be uncomfortable coming out.
Maybe you shouldn't wait 8 hours.
Try drinking a little more over Christmas.
