I think i am depressed, I've been crying way too much for the past few months and on and off not caring about anything. I Don't feel comfortable trying to talk to my mom about this but i think i need professional help of some sort. I am 14 and can't pay a lot of money. Where can i find an online therapist? or some other help.
Thx

Does your school have a counselor? If you do, go to him/her first. Then try talking to your best friend, or a teacher that cares about you. And if you really think somethings wrong, don't take the "it's just your horemones" for an answer. I was diagnosed with bipolar at 13, so dont take this lightly. Good luck, and god bless.
Serious depression last more than a couple weeks so if you are for real thinking you are depressed and it has been lasting for a few months, maybe you should go into school and talk to your guidance counselor. Online therapy usually costs money (you would need to use a credit card and most likely you do not have one.) Your guidance counselor WILL NOT contact your mother unless you talk to her about suicide, then she is obligated to. You will feel all them more better and I promise it will be more assuring to talk to a real person than to someone you do not know over the internet. Best of luck.
If you go to a school counsler they will help you. They can't tell your mom unless they think you will harm yourself or others.
If you don't feel comfortable doing that, go to a local hospital and tell them you feel depressed. They will help you.
If you do not feel comfortable with that either call The Boys Town National Hotline. It's free, they're open twenty-four hours, and they don't ask any personal questions.
