Slightly high TSH with a normal T3 and T4?

My TSH level was slightly high (5.6) and my T3 and T4 levels were normal. Is that considered as possibly having hypothyroidism? Will I be treated for it? I have a family history of thyroid problems (majority of the women on my mom's side are hypothyroid, including my mom) and in the last couple years, I havent been right. I have gained 60 lbs in 2 years that I just cannot seem to lose no matter how hard I try and my memory has been awful. For an example of the memory, I ask the same question several times or, in one particular instance, I took a cover off of a kitchen knife and then forgot that I did it and then tried to again a minute later (and of course- cut my hand open). What are your thoughts about it? Does it sound like I have hypothyroidism?

Update:

Forgot to mention that I have been extremely tired recently. I seem to have trouble waking up in the morning and I am totally exhausted by the time I can finally lay in bed, which is out of character for me.
