I'm on the opposite end of this sitaution right now. I had this guy friend that loved me but I didn't feel the same. He moved to a different school and I didn't see him for a year. All during that year I missed him a lot and went crazy. It wasn't until I realized what I had until it was gone. When I saw him after the first year I don't think he felt the same about me. It really hurts and I just wish he would feel the same again.

My advice would be to just wait for awhile she should come around once she realizes what she could have had. Breaking it off for awhile might cause her to have a realization like I did. A year might be too much for her though. Just keep loving her when your away. Be careful, breaking it off my not work. It does depend on how close of friends you guys are. If its really close it might work by ending it.

Why would you break up the friendship? I'm guessing you are a guy because that's mostly a typical guy thing to do. I think that first of all friendship is more important than anything else. Stay friends maybe she will feel the same way over time or maybe she won't don't get your hopes up but don't break up a good thing either.
