As a girl,from my point of view, i would prefer if the guy told me,before there was any "time" together. When I say "time" means..doing any activity together even walking side by side. It might seem just a walk..but when i like that someone, i would be feeling a good kind of awkward. So to prevent getting embarrassed when he tells me after the activities,I would prefer if he explained to me right before doing anything together. So, when things get cleared from the start, there will be respect. I will probably thank him for not being hesitant.

What my guy friend on the other hand did was to ask his friend to call him at a specific time when he was with the girl..and he told the friend.. that he was busy with so much stuff and that his main priority is his studies... in front of the girl. It seemed cowardly..but i guss he got his point across though..since she distanced herself from him after that.
