Also, look up the Nobel Prize in Physics (1935) for Chadwick and Chemistry (1944) for Hahn. Meitner is considered by many (most, more probably) to have deserved the Nobel as well. She was Hahn's co-worker for many years and had the critical insight as to what was happening inside the nucleus during fission.
