Recently, my HP computer wouldn't work and would show a screen saying 'Boot mgr is missing press ctrl+alt+delete to restart' after trying to restart several times, I downloaded a windows vista repair cd from https://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recov...
I downloaded it and now I'm at an 'Easy Recovery Essentials' page. I tried doing automated repair, nut the page I go to repeatedly keeps saying, "Unable to find any valid Windows partitions on this computer! Make sure all hard disks are attached. If they've been lost due to disk corruption, you can try to manually recover the partitions with testdisk at the command promptly." Please help, I have no clue what to do!

Your Windows Vista Operating System is corrupted and you'll likely need to do a System Recovery and reinstall your version of Vista. You need the exact version that you have installed, or you won't be able to reactivate your OS with Microsoft. Hopefully you have the Microsoft Product Key to reactivate Windows. If you didn't make a recovery copy of your Vista operating system, then you need to buy or borrow an exact copy of Vista to install.
