Why did the media not report on this more?
What was it last week Obama called up a veteran Inspector General and said turn in your resignation in one hour. In 2008 Obama voted for a bill that passed and is now law, that said that the President cannot fire an IG without 30 days notice and must supply the reasons for his firing.
Now I can understand why Republicans aren't saying more. The Republicans have a bare 41 votes in the Senate. And are a definite minority in the House where you can't filibuster. Every time they open their mouth to say this (i,e, Cap and Trade) is a bad idea. Obama comes out and says they are just being obstructionists and standing in the way of progress. And the media concurs, Obama is great! Obama is Good! Yea! Obama.
I guess they haven't seen the pictures I have of Obama at the beach. Trust me folks, I've seen the pictures. He walks in the water the same as I do. Not on it!
Update:Penny, All Obama said was he'd lost faith in the IG. What the heck does that mean? Is he not doing his job? Is he not watching where the money is going like he's supposed to?
And IRT the 30 day notice of termination? When you get a cll and you are told I want your resignation within one hour and no reasons are given. That sounds pretty dictatorial to me.
The Senate isn't about to even question Obama. Why? They can't stand to have the truth get out! But the truth is getting out. Democrats are a rubber stamp for Obama.

the media has better things to report on.
I haven't seen much about this on the major TV networks. The only place I hear about it is on conservative talk radio and the Internet. I think it is because most of the media support Obama and anything he wants to do. They don't want to make him look bad in any way. I remember when Bush fired some U.S. attorneys it was all over the main stream news. I remember seeing news reports about it for weeks. There were calls for investigations, and the Attorney General lost his job over it. And Bush didn't break any laws in his firings. Some people have said that Obama didn't follow the law with the IG firing. Oh, but we don't have a biased media do we?
The mantra of this Administration seems to be "What I said wasn't really what I meant, unless my liberal buds like it and then maybe I did mean it and if they don't like it maybe I'll take it back and say something else that fits the moment; besides, this is a whole new day! What do you expect? Honesty? Consistency? Honor? Hey, those are archaic concepts that have no place in the New Age of Obama."
That IG was bucking what Obama was trying to do, he was actually following the laws of America. Obama asked him to resign, he would not so Obama fired him on the grounds that he was out of touch and a little bit missing in the attic if you get my drift. This man has since been interviewed and all of his faculties are in place, more so than that man in the oval office. Americans better wake up quick.
The media reported this story, and continues to report updates. Two Republican senators have asked for Senate hearings on the firing. The IG was terminated effective 30 days from when he was notified, and the administration did supply reasons for firing. So President Obama did comply with the letter of the law. Whether the reasons were sufficient is a matter for the Senate to take up. It's a pretty minor event compared to what's happening in the rest of the world.
People don't realize they didn't vote for Obama but really voted for one party. It's one party rule and less than 30% of all Americans voted to get them in office. 2/3 did not vote for them, although they may have. 60.7 percent of the 208.3 million eligible voters cast ballots this year and a little over half of the 60% voted for Obama.
A small minority is controlling the majority, and it probably should be this way so the American people can get a taste of what it is like to have a dictator. Unlike Bush, this guy is going to have his hands in YOUR pockets and there isn't a darn thing you can do about it. Less money for the middle class. We warned you, but you wouldn't listen.
It breaks my heart and makes me angry to see Obama ruin my beautiful America. He is a crook and a liar and everyone knows it. I don't know how I will get thru the next three and a half years with him as president.
