Ripped my Toenail almost completely off, What can I do to help it stop hurting.?
I am 21 weeks along, I was cleaning and ripped my toenail completely off of the one next to the big one. All I can take is Tylenol and that is not helping IT really hurts. Its throbbing and bleeding alot. ER nurseline says there isnt much they can do or give and I dont want to take stronger meds. A friend suggested soaking in ice cold water? Has anyone tried this or have different advice?

Laying down on your back with your foot elevated on several pillows (above the level of your heart) will make it feel somewhat better, but that will only last until you stand up. Otherwise, unfortunately pregnant women just have to deal with pain until you're done breastfeeding and can take stronger medications again.
See a vet for specific! My canines had the comparable subject happen, despite if it became no longer his dew claw. We took him to the vet, and that they bumped off the broken area of the nail and wrapped his paw up. He basically mandatory the bandage for twenty-four hours and now, numerous months later, his nail is practically thoroughly back.
