Ok, I took Civics in 7th or 8th grade, so, I don't remember. But this business going on in Arizona about the immigration laws made me wonder.... Is it that hard to become a U.S. citizen? Does it cost a lot of money? I'm wondering why so many people would chose to come here illegally,(well, ok, scratch that, I know a lot of people come here illegally because where they are coming from is so much worse than here), and remain here as an illegal, if the option of citizenship is open to them. So, how do you become a U.S. citizen, other than by birth or marriage?
