I hope that you are right and these are kids who are just repeating what they have been told. Because there would be a chance that once they mature, they will learn to think for themselves. I hope so, because the younger generation is going to inherit a huge debt that will not be paid in their lifetimes, a debt created by the very people they so blindly support.

Oh and as for the kids bashing Obama, I'd be overjoyed if I had kids that listened to what I say. They may not know what they're talking about but they are learning the difference between democracy and socialism.... I say kids take a good look at Barack and all the liberals, learn about the awful things that they stand for and make sure you never see the day when one of them gets put into office!

Well, McCain sure isn't afraid to change his position, that's for sure. He's changed his positions on almost everything that could get him campaign contributions (eg, off-shore drilling), and Republican support & votes, that is. The McCain of 2000 wouldn't vote for the McCain of 2008.

Our government and our democracy is built on compromise. Obama hasn't changed his position so much as showing a willingness to compromise. He never did and still doesn't want to give oil companies new off-shore drilling leases, for example, but he's willing to accept it if that is necessary to get a real energy policy passed.

But that logic is lost on those who don't care about the truth and who will hate Obama no matter what he does or says.

Yes. He is right for the most part and both candidates have flip flop. Obama said he will take some in consideration. McCain did it first on the oil when he saw the public had interest in it. Both of these candidates have flaws. ><

There is nothing wrong with him. People fear what they consider the unknown. He was not around to hear Moses read out the 10 commandments or see him part the Red Sea like McCain. people tend to get negative about what they don't try to understand or DON'T want to understand.

Yes, you are right to a point. Politicians should be willing to change their positions when presented with new evidence. However, in the three years that Obama has been a Senator, and certainly in this campaign, there has been no new evidence on any of his flip-flops. The only things that have changed are the polls. When people want it, that becomes his view. All he cares about is getting elected.

As the leader of our nation, it would be a little more impressive, if he researched all the facts, THEN made his decisions! ...Instead of changing his "mind" after seeing his poll numbers drop because of what he said or intends to implement.

What if he pushed the BIG RED BUTTON... and then said, "Well, I didn't think they would push theirs... maybe I need to reconsider the fact that world is INIALATED!"

Nobody that follows McCain will see your point for what it really is, the truth. Obama is a President waiting for the job to become open again. They know it and so does the rest of the world. A president that can change his mind to better the country.....a man big enough not to be pig headed, and wise enough to respond to crisis.......????? Who needs that in a president anyway.....right??????

Changing your mind on an issue is one thing. Changing your comment just to get more votes, is something else.

Obama acts like he's is trying to become the next Hollywood movie star more so than anything. And his supporters follow him blindly as if he was a god.
