How long do these last. My mom started about 5 years ago and its not ending. Its reading 12 degrees outside and she's has the windows wide open. She's not fat. I wouldn't even call it a "flash". Literally, the entire time she's inside , she has the windows open and wears a t shirt. The rest of us are sweater people when its 70's. Can't close the door in the room she's in....stops the breeze....makes the entire house cold. She's from a tropical island too. Plus it cools the house down so fast...the heat kicks back on. Driving up the heating bill.

That's the not problem either....she set it for 60 the other day and still had all the windows open because she was too hot.

Its killing us.
