I was practicing doubles in my program but I fell really hard on one. I've been wearing pads and they usually work, but this time I don't know if I either missed the pad or plainly just hurt muself. Any tips?

When I used to train a lot people used to buy the pads that are sewn into spandex shorts. This way the pads dont really move out of place. I'm not sure if that is what you are using or if it is just an insert that you are putting in your tights or something. Figure skating can be a very painful sport! Chances are you just hurt yourself.
rub the spot where you fell immediately when you get up (unless in competition) if its a hard fall, this will prevent bruising.
you probably "plainly just hurt yourself"
there's nothing to a sport if there isnt a little pain. unless of course, its cottonball throwing, then i think you will be alright.
How long have you had the pads? Maybe its time for new ones or maybe just get a different kind
You should get new ones that cover more target fall areas.
