Friend help? Ugh...teenage years suck?
I've become very good friends with "Nick" over the past 8 months or so. We have long, philosophical discussions and I love talking to him. I have never had a crush on him or anything, we're just friends...or so I thought. Lately (past month or so?) he's acting a little strange. He's always been very open with my, and vents to me. However, lately he keeps asking me rhetorically, "Why did I ever like (insert name of girl he liked here)?" and once he did a heart sign on fb chat. Wtf? Maybe it was an accident? idk, I don't want to hurt him, but I really see him only as a friend. What should I do?

TRUST ME! all my best guy friends always fall for me and its annoying because i dontl ike any of them.
You've just got to say that you need him as a friend and nothing more. and he will probably take a few weeks to get over it, and then before you know hes onto another girl.
