i have prove that a family member slandered my name, can i sue?
My mom wrote some stuff down in a private message to another person about me being a socialpath and being bi-polar. I have never been told by any doctors that this is true, and if a doctor did tell her then what happened to patient privacy? can i sue her for this if i have prove?

As far as I know, you cant. Unless it was posted publically, and you had gotten fired from it, or other bad things have happened to you because of it. Its called "defamation of character"and isnt taken lightly in the judicial system···· google it. You could learn so much more than I could ever tell you. Sorry she did that to you.
