Yes, they need 4 sets. The puppy still has some immunity from her mother's milk, which kind of off sets the injections in a sense. However you don't want to rely on just that, you want to make sure as the immunity the pup got from mom wears off, that she/he is still protected from everything, which won't happen without the shots.

If your pup is having her first one today then she will need another in 3 to 4 weeks.
The first is usually done at 8 weeks with the second done at 12 weeks so she might of already had her first.
You are showing as UK and this is the procedure for us.
So if this is her first then yes she will need another in 3 weeks time.
