I am junior this year...UC Berkeley is my # 1 choice.
I was wonder do you think I can get in.
My freshman year I didn't really get involved.I did choir and swimming.
But my gpa was a 4.0
My sophomore year I got involved.I was in choir, interact, csf ,mathletics, and softball.
My gpa was a 3.8.
My junior year I am planning to be really involved. I am taking the SAT in spring.
I have
Pre Calculus
AP US history
HP Chemistry
CP English
Leadership
HP Spanish 3
I will try my best to get all A's.
So tell me what clubs I should be in. How much volunteer work I should do. Just anything that would help.

It sounds like you are on a great path towards your goal, honey.
I would recommend volunteering in your community as well as thinking of a way to make your school run better. For instance, say the lunch line is too long. Promote a schedule that has time shifts for each level (freshman, sophomores, etc.). Thinking of change for a more efficient-running school will open many eyes, including your principal when it comes time for references.
colleges only look at yr soph and junior year...unless u failed a class in frosh and senior
