The operating system goes to the "default email program" anytime you click an email link. That is usually a program such as Windows Mail or Thunderbird. It does not go to email websites.
Since Yahoo mail now includes free POP3 you can set it up in the email program.
There is no easy way to make links in programs such as a photo editor or a right click go to Yahoo mail on the web.
There are ways to get links on websites to go to the Yahoo website.
₪ For Firefox
Go to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu.
₪ For Internet Explorer
You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com/ and install it. Before the download starts there is an option screen. Be sure to check that you want to make yahoo mail your default email.
NOTE: If you do not want to use the toolbar then just hide it under view>toolbars. I do not know if uninstalling the toolbar removes the email add-on.
If you do not want to do these options then you must just copy the email address from the website and paste it into a new email.
