Hiya, I've just started working in RAW and was wondering (as above) how do I resize all the images I have taken (of an event) to the same size, rather than one by one (I have over 500 pics). I also need to convert the same pics to JPEGS, but as copies. If that makes sense. Thanks in advance, Talia

the function u want is called "batch processing.", Picture Resize Genius can do this resizing operation easily, that's the one i usually use to resize my photos.
download from http://www.lonking.com/resize-pictures/index.html,... visit the on-line places and search from batch processing and see what you find.
Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
With CS3 you can edit any picture and save the setting, you can then apply those settings to all the pictures using scripts. You can convert to Jpeg at the same time, and resize too.
The disadvantage of this is that all the images won't need the same settings, pointing your camera in a different direction could change colour balance and exposure, different times of day will need changes too. You can pull multiple images up in the Raw converter so you can do them in batches rather than globally apply settings.
Just select multiple pictures in Bridge using the shift + click or Ctrl + click to select, then just double click the selection and all the selected images will open in the Raw Converter.

Use Adobe Photoshop.. u might desire to apply action panel for this. the stairs are: a million) positioned each and all the photographs that u want to decrease in a seperate folder 2) then open in simple terms between the image in photoshop 3) bypass to 'abode windows' > 'strikes' > click on the final merchandise right here 4) click on the around checklist button on the backside of action window 5) now edit your image, decrease the size or otherwise and then keep the image (observe: each and every action is being recorded) 6) now click the end button 7) bypass to 'report' > 'Automate' > 'Batch' 8) now choose for the folder wherein the photographs are that are to be edited and the action call. 9) Hit 'ok' There you bypass... a million dollar educational :)
RAW files are not usually edited by any programs that I am aware of directly. Rather, you "import" them and later, "export" them in format and size that you need.
Adobe Lightroom works very well for this in batch mode. http://www.adobe.com/lightroom
photoshop elements 6 lets you convert to jpeg as does photoshop cs3 but cs3 is way expensive. elements is only about $80
