Best way to improve dribbling is to move in and out of cones mate, its what all the pros do. Juggling will improve your touch slightly but not greatly. Anyway here are some tips on juggling the ball:
1) Don't kick the ball too hard, keep it around waist height while juggling.
2) Alternate your feet, don't juggle with just one foot, use both feet and even your thighs, chest and head.
3) Use the lace of your foot, not the inside of it.
4) Keep practising and do not give up as experience will help you most of all, after all practice makes perfect :-)
There are lots of website that can guide you to improve your ball control, soccer drills and tips,etc.... You need to watch lots of soccer and practice till your feet ache. You not only have to be good physically but mentally. It's what I call a soccer brain, you see things out on the field the other normal skilled players can't see. You have to walk around your house with a ball on your feet. The ball and you have to become one, confidence is key, you must control the ball and not let the ball control you. The most IMPORTANT advice I can give you is to improve your first touch. If you have a good first touch you can be great. 2 months is a long time so it's not to late. Make sure you get your legs strong and your stamina high. Put the ball in a plastic bag and tie the bag to a shoelace so you can juggle the ball with out it getting away. Soccer is an easy sport you just got to practice. You need to find that sweet spot on your foot and also on that ball. You'll understand once you get better. Email me if it you need some more help, I'll be glad to help you...
Yes juggling will improve your dribbling, but you also should practice your dribbling. Set up some cones, find some trees, or some obstacles to dribble threw. Try to dribble between them as quickly as you can, try to emulate Lionel messi weaving in and out between defenders.
For juggling heres some advice:
First of all its going to take practice. So you cant expect to be able to juggle after 1 day. But if you stick with it and practice everyday you'll begin to get better.
You want to hit the ball with the center of your boot with your feet curled upward forcing backspin on the ball so it comes straight up instead of going away from you. You should try to alternate feet everytime, with nice backspin on each juggle.
When you make contact with the ball your leg should be straight not bent.
You have to be light on your toes so you can move and get to the ball if necessary.
You should try to focus on little touches, the ball doesnt need to travel any higher than your knees. Keep it close and under control. But remember it takes practice. Don't get frustrated just try to beat your record everyday.
