Guys and girls: thoughts on why guys act the way they do?
I am all about being single (I'm a girl) because having just gotten out of a horrible relationship I am ready to just have fun and flirt with whoever I want, enjoy not being attached to anyone, etc. Relationships are such a drag when you're so young! It seems like most guys are like this too so I don't understand why some players get into serious relationships in the first place. But what's weird is it seems like some guys who get in relationships only flirt MORE than when they weren't in a relationship. I know these two guys and we flirted a lot and then stopped a while but now that they're in a relationship they just talk and flirt with me ten times more and I'm thinking dude why did you get in a relationship in the first place? Do you agree? Why do guys do that - get in relationships and bogged down by these clingy girls and then flirt all the more? Do they feel trapped or something? Why even date in the first place then though? Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm some what guilty of doing the same thing. It has nothing to do with feeling trapped, or being with a girl thats too clingy. It has everything to do with I feel freer to flirt without it having to go any further, because it can't. I'll flirt with girls I only find remotely attractive when in a relationship because its fun and it probably makes the girl feel a little better about herself but I have a reason to turn her down if she wants it to be more then a mere flirtation. Like I said I only flirt with girls I would never actually date when I'm on a relationship because other wise the temptation would be too great.
Many of us guys tend to think with out gonads. We are attracted to the closest girl even if we have a relationship. See these guys for the people they are and enjoy some harmless social flirting with them. But don't let it go beyond that. And date unattached guys you are attracted to but don't get into a relationship until you are ready for it.
guys want to be your friend so there girlfriends don't think there weird and attachy would you like a guy that is always around you and never stops being around you and you are his god and he cares about nothing else? that's creepy and girls don't usually want to be in a relationship with a guy like that.
