follow up: today my period was supposed to start take a test?
ok so i have all the signs of early pregnancy and yesterday morning i took a test which turned out neg... but i only had been sleep for four hours so i dont know if that could have effected it should i take another test today since my period didnt come even though it was due?

I wouldn't take another test until you haven't had a period for about a week. Sometimes it doesn't show up right away on the test. You have to have enough of the pregnancy hormone for it to show up. I thought I was pregnant and took a test and it came out negative. Then I still didn't get my period. Finally, after several tests...and a month later it finally showed up positive. I was 6 weeks before it showed up on a home test. Normally they say to wait a week or so because you could just be late.
Early pregnancy symptoms are very similar to PMS symptoms -- you may just be experiencing PMS. If you took a test yesterday and it was negative, I would wait another day or two and see if your period comes. If you are usually very regular and your period is 2-3 days late, you might want to take another test. (Also, it doesn't matter how long you've slept -- it only matters how long since you last urinated, so the hormone has time to concentrate in your urine. Try to wait 6-8 hours after your last urination before taking the test.)

too soon to tell. Wait at least 1-2 weeks past missed period before testing. Results will not be accurate any sooner as your body is not yet producing the hormone that a test looks for if you are pregnant.
Yes i would test again , your body may not have produced enough of the hgc level to be detected her is a lil info on home test.

I would give it another week probably. If you are stressed out it will cause a delay in your cycle as well. Also, make sure that you are using a good pregnancy test, not a cheapo off brand one.
Give it at least a few more days- and if you find yourself testing a lot, get a bunch of Dollar Tree tests- they are very reliable and will save you a ton of money.
