What Did He Mean When He Said This?
my boyfriend and i dated for 3 1/2 years. we broke up for about 3 months and recently got back together after our break. things have been awesome and i couldnt be happier. this little break we had made us appreciate each other more. last night we were sitting on the couch after a weekend of camping and he laid his head on me and said "i do love you" and i was kind of confused...i don't know why, but we have said i loved you for a long time... and to say "i do love you" kind of set me back..am i just thinking about it to much? i think i am...haha, what do you guys think?

yes you are thinking about it too much. the word love gets thrown around so much that it has lost its pure meaning. He was probably just thinking back on events that have happened either over the weekend or over your relationship and he really loves you and wants you to know it and believe it.
I say that sometimes. I think it's an attempt at reasureance for the possibility that my girl might have doubts. Either way it's just the same. I think perhaps it means he's thought about it before saying it more than he might usually. Be glad.
Well my boyfriend doesnt say that he loves me often so you shud be happy that a BOY is actually saying that he does :)
Why else would he say it if he doesnt i think hes just making sure that you know that he does.
