Will the asteroid "Apophis" also bring a meteor shower that would destroy all the satellites in orbit?
Is it big enough to trail a lot of space debris with it? Even if it does not strike the earth could it bring with it massive destruction in the form of a meteor shower?
Very unlikely. There is only one asteroid (out of the tens of thousands known) which has a meteor shower associated with it: 3200 Phaethon and the Geminid meteor shower.
Possibly - but satellites orbit above the atmosphere you see, and Apophis will break inside the atmosphere, but nothing will hit the satellites. It would be cool though.
I'm not a 100% sure, but I don't think its likely that would happen, however its not impossible. I suppose it something to think about. Although if it did happen I'm not to sure how important that would be because they would probably just put up new ones.

i wouldn't care if it destroyed a couple of satellites the filthy rich people who own them can build a million more of them
i don't know is it enough or not.maybe is not enough
anything is possbile
