I know I have a lot more responsiblities, but I never stopped thinnking why things happen or I still want to buy toys, but now I have kids as an excuse to buy toys and happymeals. I like to stay up when ever I want run around the house chaseing the dogs. I still find creative ways to make mischief and mahiem yet I have to live with the consequenses of my children picking up horriblely bad ideas of having fun. So really are grown-ups just kids with power?

You are so lucky, I think I grew up, at 20, when my dad died, and the realisation hit that if anything happened to my mum, my sister would become my responsibility. (she was younger)
10 years later I finished my growing up, when I had my 1st child and realised now I was responsible for a child.
Occasionally, I find my younger self, but not as of tern as I would like I guess.
Keep you attitude to life, I think it is great.
Well, I'm not a kid with power. I think being a Christian has brought me fully into the adult world, BUT, I think God can give us a youthful enthusiasm for life!
I still like some "toys", especially sweet, goofy teddy bears. My worst childhood hangover is my addiction to sweets. I have trouble eating like an adult!
But when it comes to being responsible though, Jesus helps me take on the tasks!
~still a KID@59:)~
happy new year!
I am 37 and still feel like a kid with power. I am responsible in that I pay my bills, keep a roof over my son's head, food on the table etc but.....
I am also the only Mom I know that lets their kid rollerblade in the kitchen and down the hall, jump on his bed and play his rock music loud. (heck I like most of the music he listens to) I let him wear the clothes he wants and grow his hair long. I keep trying to talk him into getting blue streaks in his hair but he won't let me!!!
I dont think I have any power at all. I think I am mostly still a kid.
i think so...
