It is interesting that miracles aren't always accepted as such. On the other hand we are told what is truth to some is foolishness to others. education is often a block to wisdom., as wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord.Those who have begun wisdom soon understand and witness miracles. A wondrous fact to them and of no import to those who have not sought it. God gives all of us free will and for those who choose to reject their relationship with God ,He leaves them ALONE AND IN IGNORANCE about such things,after all if miracles were undeniable then God could no longer be left out of the relationship that the person doesn't believe they want. Thus the free will of the person would no longer exist!

Because no miracle has ever happened. Oh, people will claim that this or that happened, and it's a miracle - but not ONE SINGLE event has ever occurred in which the event was both scientifically verified to have happened, and was also a violation of natural law (the definition of a miracle) - since that can't happen. IOW, by definition, miracles can't happen - so why "believe in" something that can't happen?

Show me a miracle, and I'll show you a fortuitous coincidence. It's all a matter of perspective.

Religious people see someone make an amazing recovery from a debilitating illness, and they thank God for a miracle, while the rest of us congratulate the medical team for a job well done, and the patient for having willpower and perseverance.

Also if you keep hoping for a miracle you might neglect to do other non-miraculous things for yourself. My association to miracles is miracle cures: it takes one claimed miracle cure to give hope to many sufferers but then a even larger disappointment, resignation and cynicism as more miracles fail to materialize. So it's cruel to start the rumor without making absolutely sure the miracle was one in the first place.

Because awesome miracles are used by people to stupidly explain the gaps of the unknown. Give rain for example, It rained because,"God loves us," isn't a smart excuse to explain why it would rain in a place where vegetation didn't grow much.

I can tell you that the definition of a miracle is somewhat different today than it was just 100 years ago. Example:If someone from the late 1800's saw many of the technological advancements of today they would call them miracles.Why? Because they would be beyond their explanation. So, simply put: a miracle is something well beyond our explanation of it.

Because they are impossible by definition. If a miracle was something that could have any other logical explanation, then it wouldn't be a miracle. Now, can you show me an example of something that is an actual miracle?

All of life is a miracle but also very natural as joy is the natural condition of being and creating but people have become numb to life because of perverted teachings.

People refuse to believe in them because they do not seem rational to them. There has never been a supernatural experience in his/her life and he/she does not have the faith required to believe in them.

I personally believe in miracles because of both faith and the fact that there are miracles all around us. Us being alive is a miracle!

People like to understand things, some of us think there are reasons rather than miracles.
