Their adds should be pulled and a scam alert should go out, because they are still trying to scam people. We don't need a bunch of mass marketing bull trying to brain wash people into throwing their money away on companies that are broken. AIG and Wacovia to be specific. Do you think their advertisements should be puled from T.V.?

Yes I think they should be pulled. This is just no fair and I hate that we have no power at all to screw them and get the money ourselves.
Most companies that have gone "bankrupt" have been bought out, and so will appear to stay a float until their name is changed. The new owners want people to know it's ok to use their services, as normal.
I think beer commercials and any other ones that influence children should be pulled.
And besides, not just companies that have gone bankrupt advertise. There are companies that advertise on TV and they make it sound better than it really is!
Most of them have been auctioned off by the government so they are not completely out of business. What you will notice is over the next 6 months or so a lot of them will change names. (eg: Washington Mutual will change to Chase Bank)
If they're chapter 11, they will still be in business
it's called marketing
