I don't get how Yahoo Answers is run. How can questions up for voting go into tiebreakers, if one answer has 100% of the votes so far? I have found several examples of this.
And why is it, when I ask a question, I can't pick best answer until it's been up 24 hours, but I've seen others pick a best answer after just a few hours???
I don't get it!!!
Update:Another example:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An58L...
Update 3:There were two more questions I found that were resolved early, but it's been a day now for both, so I won't bother linking to them.

I'm actually webmaster. I believe you are mistaken, no one can pick a best answer after a few hours. You have to wait at least 24 hours in order to account for all possible answers.
Those two people are co-webmasters. What a coincidence! Sorry.
as a results of fact dancing so very actually and of path is a cultural element. maximum people who're not white learn it from the crib. they don't. there is not any reason to generalize, yet dancing is something maximum folk in simple terms get born doing, they don't. a minimum of not hip hop.
i totally agree with you. and what is so special about being a level 3? I know you get to ask more questions and answer more but what is the other benefit?
