I agree with gabi. But why is a chef a chef and not a cook,thats all he does. It's just the title that sounds better. Anybody can open a beer and pour a shot. Making a drink that's going to taste good requires a good sense of what is good in a drink. Sounds pretentious but it's true. You can't just grab bottles and pour them on the rocks and expect to have perfection. Been behind the bar for 13 years either one sounds okay to me.

I agree. Give me the good ol' days when I could just order a martini and I got gin with a splash of dry vermouth-a martini.Yep,pure booze.Why don't those other drinks go out and get their own names?

bloody mary 6.50, tomatini 10.50, one bloody mary makes about 2.5 tomatinis, you do the math ! don't worry, it all goes back to basics eventually. i guess, it sounds classier to order a dry gin martini up, than simply gin.
