First of all, thank everyone. Don't ever say you don't like a gift or you hurt the feelings of the giver. You can always keep them and re-gift, but not to the original giver! You may be able to get cash for the gift card. Keep the diamond earrings. The time will come when you love them.

If you take the sweater back, they probably won't give you a refund without the reciept; they'll give you a store credit instead. If you don't want anything from the store, find someone who would, and gift them the credit -- you might have to go with them to the store to do this though. I doubt you can return the gift card, but you can re-gift it to someone who might like Old Navy. As for the diamond earrings -- Politely tell your mom that you love her for wanting to get you something so beautiful, and really appreciate her thoughtfulness, but that you just wouldn't wear them, and that you would be much happier with cash or you name the item.

Well to get rid of them and get money sell them on ebay or at a tag sale or something. its not really a good idea to say you dont want them to someone. and im sure your mom will understand about the earings. or you could just take them and only wear them for special events.

Sell in the garage sale. Re: your mother tell her you hate jewelry or diamond. Tell her you rather want the money. I'm pretty sure she will understand.

As for those unwanted gifts, you can give someone who like them, if you can't return~

put them into a meat grinder and grind them into dust. Then you can sell the dust by the pound.

sell all of it . the earrings to a store. and the other **** to a thrift shop.
