I have this problem on my math homework and I can't figure this out! Please help me! ASAP!
To find the square root we must use a calculator..... but we know that sqrt(100) = 10 and sqrt(121) =11
then the sqrt(106,929) is a number between 10 and 11 ... using a calculator we get
sqrt(106,929) = 10.340647 OK!
327.
There is a calculator built into Windows. You can find it in Accessories (or in Apps if you have Windows 8).
Click on View and select Scientific and you will find keys for x² etc. For square roots use Inv x². The Windows 8 version has a square root key.
327
sqrt(3*3*11881)
sqrt(3*3*109*109)
3*109 = 327
