So I live in Canada and I've got a player that plays region 1 discs. Cherrybomb is a movie I am dying to see, like everyone else, but I can't because it's only barely distributed in the UK and who friggin knows if American distributors can get on it or when. It certainly took forever for it to get distributed period. So my friend offered to mail it to me after it gets released August 22. The amazon site says its region 2. Is there a way that I can watch it somehow? I'm not sure if multiregional players play ALL discs plus I don't want to have to buy a new DVD player...is there a way I can play it on my laptop or something? Or a program that will let me? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks
