perfect question for mee :D lmao
-well an spf of 30 or higher
-a broad spectrum lotion, which means protects against BOTH UVA and UVB
- i also know that if you look at the labels on them, it's way better if it says, "approved by the skin cancer foundation"!!!
i have lupus and therefore do not tolerate sun well. It takes me about 20 minutes of sun exposure without sunscreen to develop blisters and sun rashes. My dermatologist has always preached an spf of 30 or higher....broad spectrum so that it covers uva and uvb rays and the key ingredients should be titanium dioxide or zinc oxide which can be hard to find. Neutrogena makes a great 30 with titanium dioxide....i would do a search on neutrogena sunscreens to find it...my dermatologist pushes neutrogena products as well and all their sunscreens are approved by the national cancer foundation.
