A little over a week ago, I was on the rebound and hooked up with a guy I used to work with. Turns out he took off the condom while we were changing positions, and I didn t realize until I got up to use the restroom after, and the condom was on the floor next to the bed. I was planning on going for an STD check next month, because the local health clinic does free STD month in April. But then a few days ago, I started getting an itching feeling in and around my vagina, and then my period started a week early. I took a mirror down there, and my vulva is very red and a little swollen. I did some research, and it sounds like a yeast infection, but I m worried because I also read that gonorrhea symptoms can appear very similar to yeast infection symptoms. How fast do gonorrhea symptoms show up? How concerned should I be? Any advice is helpful! Thanks in advance.

To me it sounds like a yeast infection, gonorrhoea symptom include green/yellow discharge, burning whilst urinating, lower abdominal pain etc, if you dont have any of them symptoms then it probably isnt. You said it was really itchy down there, therefore its more likely to be a yeast infection which your doctor can give you something to treat it with. Eitherway you should go to the doctor and get it checked out, hope everything goes ok

Sounds like a yeast infection, especially if you are having thick white discharge that is clumpy like cottage cheese with no odor. Best to go to the doctor and get an STD test since he took the condom off, what a PRICK.

You've got CLAP
Get checked ASAP and start treatment, if needed. You could get very sick, if you wait a month to get tested. Good luck (the jerk had better be on your NO NO list )
