I have 2 credit cards that I use very strangely. They both have low limits because I am only 18 and they are my first credit cards. The limit on one is $175 and the limit on the other is $300. I use them regularly so what I normally do is use them and then take two months to pay each of completely. Paying half of the balance the first month and paying half the second month. And then I'll go max them out again. They are always paid a little before the payment due date and it's always exactly half the balance. Is it okay to use my credit card like this? Will it help my credit?

A better way:
Use one card for your gas and another one for food.
Make sure to keep them well below that credit limit.
Try not to exceed 50% of your credit limit available.
Pay in full when you get the bill in the mail.
Not the minimum, not more than the minimum, but in full.
This way you never pay interest and develop great credit scores.
It is a myth that carrying balances and paying interest is good for credit.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Pay them in full after you get the bill in the mail each month.
By not paying them in full when they are due, you are paying interest on the second half the next month.
Using all of your available credit on a regular basis can possibly lower your credit score. It's the unused credit ratio to debt that increases the score.
Don't max them out every other month, just use them for small purchases each month, and pay them in full when you get the bill.
As long as you pay the minimum and the balance the following month you should be okay. However, do not try to max them out every month.
Stop maxing out your credit cards, that's ridiculous. Make small purchases, pay your balance off in full every single month.
Sure, but it would make a lot more sense to pay them in full every month. Why pay interest on half of everything yo buy!?!?!
