Should I date a guy shorter then me?
I am 5'10 in a half. I'm 14. Very insecure about my height. I really like this guy that is MUCH shorter than me. Possibly 5'6 maybe 5'7? It would be very awkward if we tried to kiss while standing up. Should this matter though if we both really like each-other? Also, he is my bestfriend. Should I date my bestfriend? Thanks (:

I never understood why this mattered to anyone! Who cares what heights you guys are? If height is this important to you then I really doubt there's much else in this relationship for you to place importance on. Also, dating your best friend is probably a bad idea because when you break up, things won't be the same.
But it's your choice. I don't think height should make any difference.
i'm a 22 years previous guy who's purely 5'5 and that i could date a girl who's taller than me any day, i discover them captivating. you at the instant are not the only one that had/has feeling for adult males who're shorter than you, I knew a pair of ladies who have been taller than me and had weigh down on me, one among them became even 6 ft.
You are very young for dating (and I am not an "old fogey"), so please go slow. And a difference in height--for many people--will be a problem, but not among mature, intelligent, high-consciousness people. Besides, they have these things called "couches" and "picnic blankets" that "even out" differences in height. Make sense?

if you really like this guy and he really like you, then you should go out with him .. u shouldnt care what others think either... And only date your bestfriend if it wont effect your friend relationship if you 2 break up... AND IF YOU 2 DO KISS... THEN JUST KISS HIM SITTING DOWN, OR JUST HAVE HIM STAND ON A CHAIR OR ROCK
