I have had something wrong with my tongue for a few years but it was white coating that would make weird shapes on my tongue and i think it was geographic tongue. Well since i have been pregnant (im 15 weeks) it has gotten worse and worse, now i have developed white sores with a red perimeter and they swell up and get really sore when i eat anything salty, sour, or spicy and then go away within 30 minutes. So i figured this has to be something that can be treated, when i went to my pcp about a few other more serious issues i mentioned something about my tongue and she said i should just wait until after my pregnancy to have it looked at and treated. well since that appointment about a week ago the sores have gotten more painful when i eat and its becoming really uncomfortable so before i call her back i wanted to know what everyone thinks it is, Oral Thrush Possibly? and what can i do for it while i am pregnant?

sounds like thrush so what you have to do is call your doctor and make and appt cause it can be cured with antibiotics, my baby had this problem b4 and that's what they gave him and it went away within days.
If it is Oral Thrush they should be able to treat it the same way they treat a yeast infection. I would defiantly call her back and tell her how uncomfortable it is. If they ignore you maybe you should call your primary physician and ask what can be done.
