Norton 360 says my auto-protect is not on, but when I press "Fix," it doesn't do anything?

What should I do? I've looked for updates, no new updates found. I've scanned my computer, no viruses found.
Update:I've ran Liveupdate, nothing new to update was found.

Norton is bloatware & causes about as many problems as it solves.
Go lightweight, fast & free with AVG (somewhat hard to download) or my pref. 'Avast!.
You'll see a much improved performance.
