I have a three year old dachshund, and he can rip through anything! Every toy I buy usually ends up with stuffing all over the floor! He will rip holes through whatever I buy him. I even recently bought him a rope toy thinking that might hold him off. I wake up the next morning to find it in shreds all over the couch. He has some nervous habits, like sucking on blankets. So I try to buy him toys to gnaw on to help him calm down sometimes. (He is usually just nervous if it is loud or there are a lot of people at home.) Any ideas which kinds of chew toys are best for him?

From our experience the following are super durable and fun for chew toys:
-West Paw Zogoflex toys like the Hurley or Huck
-Planet Dog Orbee toys like the Orbee Ball or Diamond Ball
-Any of the Nylabone Dura Chew toys (Bonus: Great for cleaning the pup's teeth and massaging the gums) <-- the Bar-b-Chew T-Bone rocks ... If you're looking for something specifically to gnaw on this is the way to go.
-Jolly Balls are always a ton of fun
I'd shy away from anything made of natural rubber since they tend to not last too long with heavy chewers.
Hope that helps! Best of luck to your and your dachshund.
Get him a sterilized bone and a non-stuffing toy. Chewing on a bone will help him to be able to soothe himself. You want a toy that is hard rubber, fill it with treats so that he was to work to get the treats out. Also interactive toys are great, you can play with him like a ball, for instance.
i know you can get this thing at like a dog store where you put food it in and the dog try to get it and it take along time trust i have a dog and it wont break becuz its really stiff

Try some of those. You can also google "kevlar dog toys" or tire dog toys.
go to pets mart and they have this indestructible ball my dog does the same thing and the ball works wonders
Maybe like a bone? I don't know if you buy those like really thick ones I think it'd last him awhile..
