are you truly trying or just staying within your own sector of the community..............why are you here in the first place, did you REALLY want to move to the other country etc etc.....IF you plan to stay then you either have to suck it up and find ways to enjoy your new place.......every place has its good and bad points, just focus on the good.

I have lived in four different countries thru out my live. First...learn the language as fast as you can......communication is the most important issue. Because if you can talk to the people, you'll find out what they think and what traditions they have and why....you will understand them and their culture and so you will be able to adapt.
It takes several years to fully integrate yourself into a new culture. In the mean time, you'll experience mood swings, depression, denial, anger, and a host of other emotions. 8 months usually isn't enough!

You're just used to the place where you live. It takes time to adapt to different countries and their way of lives. Just be patient!!

It takes many years before you will feel comfortable. At least five.
Don't rush it. Take your time. Keep learing and asking questions.
I think you're expecting too much too soon.....it takes years to adapt to another culture. Give yourself time.
It'll take longer, be patient. (and the word is ADAPT)
