Is the government trying to starve us to death?
It seems to me they are. We are in this mess by everything the government has done. Ignoring the people out sourcing jobs through ignorant trade agreements to globalize for cheep labor. Refusing to raise the wages to something where the people could afford to live. People loose their houses because the get laid off and can no longer afford to pay for them. And now they all cry fowl when the market crashes and they want the U.S. tax payers to flip the bill again and again for their blatant irresponsibility. I say no more. What do you think the punishment should be for government irresponsibility if you ran the country?

I'm not sure what the government is doing to us right now. They sure have let the American people down. This banking crisis is unreal....someone was sleeping at the switch. This nightmare did not happen overnight. I keep hearing that we need to do something to bail these companies out.....why? I listened to a man on the radio today and he said we should just let these companies flounder around and correct their own problems. What I fear is we give these companies all this money, the executives pad their bank accounts and bail themselves out first and then pass whatever is left to the share holders. That is not properly reorganizing a company that is having money problems. We are sending billions and possibly trillions overseas and now we are bailing out the car companies and these financial institutions...when is it going to end? We are imploding and it scares me.
The only reason Bush is involved with the buyout is because the super rich lost their money.
what the government should do is not to cater to the rich so much and worry about the working men and women in this country.
I don't understand why these CEO's can't sell off a few of their extra condos, luxury cars, and boats and pay off their OWN mess.

Take away all their money and anything of value, property etc. Then they will see how we as citizens feel!
I would give those poloticians real jobs but first take away their wealth.
