If corporations were more concerned about letting their own workers prosper would the economy be better off?

Yes the economy would be better off. Instead of giving some CEO sitting on his butt pushing a pencil a million dollar christmas bonus, why not give the bottom feeders a modest raise? I know all about overpaid CEO's and underpaid laborers. Bastards!
No.as the economy does not depend on the prosperity o f the workers of the corporation.
If the workers prospered, the company would be uncompetitive and eventually be out of business and the workers would be unemployed.
