If a sandwich is kept in a plastic baggy?
I have a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and onions in it which is inside a sealed plastic baggy that's been sitting on my desk for the past 4 or 5 hours, no refrigeration. And it was cooked without butter. Is it safe to eat it after that much time has passed?
How long would I have to wait for it to become spoiled/inedible?

4to5 hours should be fine! As long as the bag is sealed, it's fine. I would give it a couple days to start to spoil/mold. It might be a little moist though if you put it in the bag warm :P
Eat it now, if you are planning to eat it later, then throw it away!
