I need a book or text book which to handle difficult social situations like these .?
I am in a first year of BA psychology .I need to know what text books I should read for social situation below...
Like yesterday at my security job I forgot open the gym at 5:00 am and this guy humiliating for 20 minutes and I just keep saying , I really apologize sir , I have nothing more to say other then I forgot and I am sorry . But he was keep on going...but this is not the first time ...this is not the first time ... this is your job come on.

My ex wanted me to pay for my daughter glasses which I would’t mind to pay, so I just told her that I am not getting enough right to make decisions on my daughter’s life .You just call me when you need money, you never tell me how did she do in school nothing, I feel I am just an ATM. So her reply was, oh you do this all the time, whenever I ask you money ,you just go crazy. You are cheap, you sound like Jew.... and list goes on. I have been used by people all my life, that’s why I am studying psychology to crack these codes.
Now I need the field name or book name or text book name to find solution of these problems above thanks

You handled the first one right. Say you are sorry and mean it, but don't continue to engage the person. Narcissistic people can always find a reason to gripe, so do your best to ignore them, but try to solve the situation. It might help to let them vent, but tune them out, and when they are done, then you can say you are sorry.
Situation 2. Pay for your daughters glasses, she deserves that. You can go to your daughters school and ask her teachers about her school work and give the teachers your phone number and email so you stay involved in her life, no excuses for that. You might need to go back to court and settle the child support and how things are handled with your ex, but don't do anything that harms the sacred relationship you have with your sacred daughter. Your daughter is the innocent one in this situation, she needs the grown ups to be grown ups. The best book for handling life's situations is the Bible. All the answers are found there. Start with Proverbs and read it over and over until you understand it. Proverbs and Psalms tells you how you are supposed to live, so when you read your Bible, look for the answers. Peace be with you.
