How to write a letter to someone in jail?
my ex boyfriend whome i just lost a baby with is in jail and will maybe be taking up to 20 years in prison and has only been in jail for two weeks i have write him a letter letting him know how i was , how my daughter is all that good stuff , but i don't know what too tell him anymore anybody have any ideas im trying my best too be here for him and to show him how much i really care .

Just write it as if you were talking to him on the phone. But you also need to be aware that the jail/prison WILL open and read your mail so be careful NOT to say things like, "I contacted Joe who will be helping plan your escape." Yeah, I know... silly example, but you need to be aware that your mail will be examined.

Etiquette takes over where laws end.
There is no right way or wrong way, just write what and when feels right. Remember, a person in jail is the same person they were before they went to jail, they just live in an institution now. If you run out of things to say, imagine how it will be for him. At least you get to do new things you can tell him about.
don't forget to smear your ***** juice all over the letter.
